INNER WORK, BUT MAKE IT COMMUNAL

Working on yourself can be exhausting. If you’re here, you probably want to be the best person you can be, but it shouldn’t be so draining. And it should come with fun, and play, and sharing, and breaks.

I’ve wanted to offer something for small groups for a long time, something beyond a yoga or tarot workshop. Something well rounded that will give you tools and frameworks to perceive life and the world in ways that are both real and grounded, but also deliberate and conscious.

ENTER, BECOMING…

Becoming is a 5 part offering that offers a safe container for exploring several aspects of personal development. Among a small group of peers (6-8 total), we’ll explore mental and physical exercises, modalities, philosophies, ideas, and discover the ways we became who we are from who we once were, and how to become who we want to be.

The cost for all 5 sessions is $600 which can be paid up front or in 3 installments. Limited drop ins will be granted for those who want to enter 1 or 2 sessions only at $130 each.

MAY 20, 2021

In Becoming Curious, we explore approaching life through a beginner's eyes to reset the unconscious assumptions we carry with us every day. We'll play with the following:

  • How to cultivate curiosity by asking questions instead of jumping to conclusions

  • How to feed intuition by listening, utilizing reflective tools, and observation

  • How to utilize wise discernment to balance healthy skepticism and a mind open to magical possibilities

  • How to "fact check" your intuition with your practical reality

BECOMING EMBODIED

June 3, 2021

In Becoming Embodied, we unravel what our body is "supposed" to look and feel like and learn to play with what "is" by asking:

  • What is your body story and how did it develop? (You can read about mine in The Body Series).

  • How do we break negative narratives?

  • What does embodiment mean and how can I do it?

  • What is my relationship with basic body function (sleep, sex, food, fitness) and how do my attitudes help or harm me?

BECOMING AUTHENTIC

june 17, 2021

In Becoming Authentic, we'll explore what it means to be fully ourselves and break down the performance by asking:

  • What is my authentic self?

  • How can I use personality frameworks as a tool for reflection and development?

  • When am I performing? When am I fully myself?

  • What are roles I have outgrown? When do I revisit those roles and for what reason?

  • How do I want to continue to grow and define the Self beneath the layers of other people's expectations?

BECOMING LOVED

july 1, 2021

In Becoming Loved, we'll talk about self-love beyond the hashtags and explore the ways we give and receive love.

How have my past relationships (familial, romantic, platonic) shaped my perception of what love is?

What is self-love, self-care, and all these other Instagram words that are supposed to mean I like myself?

How can I practice experiencing love as an infinite resource / power?

What is the difference between love and attachment? (You can read more about my take on that in Romance is Bullshit.)

BECOMING FREE

july 15, 2021

In Becoming Free, we’ll explore the themes of wildness and freedom, but understanding the ways we may have boxed ourselves in, or lost autonomy or agency. We’ll explore:

  • What it means to be “domesticated” and how society cages us

  • What it means to “take up space” and the ways we may have made ourselves small

  • How the concepts we’ve played with over the past few months contribute to our personal freedom

  • How to work beyond personal freedom and use our unique talents to contribute to a better tomorrow
